i have a secret...

...i've never been to california before. i know, it's a travesty given that i spent four years at byu and somehow never graced the soil of this great state. thankfully virgin america decided to put their flights out west on sale to rectify the situation. my dear friend tyler told me of the sale in the first place and initiated going out there.

tyler, justin, and i bought tickets tonight for a long weekend at the end of february. we'll be staying in san fran. i haven't decided yet if i'm more excited to actually visit california or make a cd with california related songs to listen to. you can't really do that unless you are actually visiting the state. and let's be honest, there are a ton of fabulous california related songs. "california love" anyone?

so, i now welcome any suggestions of fun things to do in san fransisco...

I'm loving the frequency of your blogging this week! I've been to California but only the Southern part. I've never been to San Francisco although I'm pretty certain I would LOVE it! Have fun!

Tracy,

Sometimes I feel like I comment for no reason...you NEVER respond!!! It's okay, I forgive you!

San Francisco: Pier 49 (lots of great random 'entertainers' on the pier, you can take a boat out to Alcatraz and do a tour, great sourdough bread, lots of little shops, and don't pass by the 'sea lion' section...pretty gross and nasty, but a must!)There is also the Ghirardelli factory (mmm, chocolate), lumbar street (worth it do go once), lots of stores (which all exist in New York anyway), and OF COURSE...the Golden Gate Bridge (takes about 30-40 minutes to walk across one direction...if I remember correctly from about 14 years ago!)

There are my suggestions. OH...and just for me, you should swing by AT&T park (it's where the Giants play...nice ball park). And you should also make the time to cross over the bay and visit the Oakland Temple! :o)

There are my thoughts!

Give Sactown a shout out for me as you fly over! :o)

You will love it there! Just embrace everything around you.

Kristi and I have been friends since 7th grade, we were freshman year roommates, and we lived together until she got married. Justin's my boy! Do you know BC too?! You know how you make those freshman year friends that will be your forever friends? Justin's one of those. Such a small world.

I'm applying there, we'll see :)

I haven't been to San Francisco since I was 10, and everything that I remember doing there, your friend chelsy already mentioned. However, there was this really fun playground . . . Anyway, I'm sure you'll have a great time!
